Waukesha Bearings announces expansion of Antigo facility

An Antigo company that produces bearings for marine, power generation, and other applications has announced a significant expansion of their facility.

Waukesha Bearings will add 35,000 square feet to their production facility located on Amron Avenue. The added production space is needed to help fulfill orders for a marine project that the company won from General Dynamics Electric Boat.

It's the continuation of a 50-year partnership between General Dynamics and Waukesha Bearings.

A groundbreaking for the project will be held on August 8th at 10 AM. Work is expected to take up to seven months and be completed by January 2020.
